Our Story

TradesPro Services was born out of a simple realization: being great at your trade doesn’t automatically make you great at running a business.

The idea started with a close friend of mine — a talented electrician who takes pride in his work, works long hours, and has built a solid reputation in his community. Despite all that effort, his business wasn’t growing the way it should have. Not because he lacked skill, but because the business side was never his passion.

Like many trades professionals, he was spending too much time trying to manage finances, payroll, marketing, and operations instead of doing what he loved. He didn’t have budgets, clear financial visibility, or systems to guide decisions. And after years of hard work, he came to a difficult realization: he still wasn’t anywhere close to being ready for retirement.

That conversation hit home for me — because business is my passion. With an MBA, over 25 years of professional business experience, and years spent serving as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), I’ve seen how the right systems, financial clarity, and disciplined decision-making can completely change the trajectory of a company. I also realized my friend’s situation wasn’t unique. There are thousands of skilled trades professionals just like him — excellent at their craft, hardworking, and honest — but underserved when it comes to business support.
